英語課文《Lesson20:HowFarisBeijing?》教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)

Lesson 20 : How Far is <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Beijing?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

教學(xué)目標(biāo)：

    知識與技能：掌握下列單詞：about, 1--10，000數(shù)字的表達(dá)法。掌握下列句子：a. How far is it from____ to _____?  b. It’s about______ kilometers. / meters.

    過程與方法：1.能夠從數(shù)字1數(shù)到10000。 2.能夠?qū)傻刂g的距離提出問題，并做出較準(zhǔn)確的回答。

情感態(tài)度與價(jià)值觀：把英語與數(shù)學(xué)、地理等知識結(jié)合起來，體現(xiàn)多學(xué)科的聯(lián)系，充分發(fā)揮他們的思維、觀察、計(jì)算等多方面的智能，使學(xué)生通過數(shù)這一常用概念，感知英語的實(shí)用性，增強(qiáng)學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣。

教學(xué)重點(diǎn)：

英語中數(shù)字的讀法及“about” 在本課中的使用。能夠用英語讀出生活中相關(guān)的數(shù)字。

教學(xué)難點(diǎn)：

    1.具體數(shù)字的表達(dá)法：如25686

    2.用“How far”句型對兩地之間距離提出問題并回答。

教具準(zhǔn)備：

    1．每個小組一張統(tǒng)計(jì)表（張數(shù)依小組人數(shù)而定）

    2．建筑及景物圖片，地圖，課文錄音。

教學(xué)過程：

一、Class opening:

1. Greeting. 簡單的口語交談

How old are you? How many pencils do you have? How many books do you have?…

2、Game：做數(shù)字接龍游戲。（復(fù)習(xí)數(shù)字，做好鋪墊，活躍課堂氣氛。）

二、New Concepts:

1、三位數(shù)的讀法

出示鳳凰山的圖片及相關(guān)數(shù)字。

師問：This is FenghuangShan. How tall is it? Who can say it in English?

生答：It is eighty-eight meters tall.

出示東方明珠電視塔的圖片

師問：What’s this?    How tall is it?

生答：It’s four hundred sixty-eight meters tall。

師：Yes. Very good. Say it , together.（僅僅重復(fù)數(shù)字的讀法）

教師再出示兩張圖片（物體高度三位數(shù)的）請學(xué)生回答。

讓學(xué)生說說在數(shù)學(xué)里我們怎樣讀三位數(shù)的數(shù)字，通過此引出英文三位數(shù)字的讀法：按照數(shù)字的順序，先讀百位上的數(shù)，是幾就讀幾，在數(shù)字幾的后面加上單“hundred和 and”, 然后再讀幾十幾。

教師出示多個三位數(shù)字，請學(xué)生讀出來。

注意：百位和十們之間加and，十位上是零時(shí)用and做連接。

2、四位數(shù)的讀法

同樣的方法請學(xué)生總結(jié)規(guī)律：用“thousand” 表示千，它的前面是基數(shù)。用“hundred” 表示百，前面也是基數(shù)，在百位和十位之間用“and” 連，當(dāng)百位、十位上是零時(shí)也用“and” 連。

3、學(xué)習(xí)“about”

出示地圖，找到兩個城市（北京、唐山）Ask：How far is Beijing? It is …在地圖上標(biāo)出它的距離，讓學(xué)生說。

師：Yes. It is two hundred and five kilometers. About two hundred kilometers.  About two hundred kilometers. Say it ,please.

Ask the students to guess: the meaning of ‘a(chǎn)bout’。師用“≈”表示。

以地圖上的國家和城市之間的距離練習(xí)用英語讀數(shù)字及單詞“about”.

聽課文錄音，整體感知課文內(nèi)容。根據(jù)課文內(nèi)容回答問題：

How far is from Shijiazhuang to Beijing?

How far is from China to Canada?

Listen and follow

出示一系列的圖片及相關(guān)數(shù)字，請學(xué)生讀出它們，并能用“about” 說出它們大約是多少。
