1.Review parts of the body with “Simon Says”.

  Step 3.Key concepts:Why?Because ________.

1.Introduce:     

    a.Model the use of “Why?Because _____.” With phrases the Ss already know.After do a few examples, ask for volunteers to ask questions and give responses. Here are some questions:

           I am hungry. I want to eat. Why?Because I am hungry.

           I am cold. I want to put on my scarf.Why? Because I am cold.

          b.Demonstrate another way to phrase “why” questions.For examples:I am laughing. Why am laughing?Note that you reverse the order of “I” and “am” in the question.

2.Student book:

a.Review the story so far. LiMing has come to Canada to stay with Jenny’s family .Now it is winter. What are LiMing and Jenny doing In this lesson?

b.After play the audiotape, ask some questions to reinforce the main idea of the story in the student book.

3.Practice: Play “Why?Because____”.
