1.  Warm-up

(1) Sing a song. Stand up!

(2) Listen and do the action.

T: Stand up, Mary. Point to the door.

S1: (Do the actions.) The door.

T: Sit down, please. Stand up, Jack. Point to the window.

S2: (Do the actions.) The window.

T: Sit down, please. Point to ten. 

S3: (Point to the Bb.) Ten.

T: Can you make an order?

S1: Point to 5. 

S2: (Do the actions.) Five.

(4) T: Look, they are fingers. Now how many fingers?

Ss: Four fingers.

2. Show the topic: Today we’ll talk about the numbers. 今天我們將談?wù)撚嘘P(guān)數(shù)字的話題。Numbers are very important in our lives. We can count, reckon and so on.生活中我們可利用數(shù)字數(shù)數(shù)、計算等等做許許多多的事情。Can you give some examples? You can lookup some message from Internet. And then please discuss in groups. OK? 同學(xué)們可通過校園網(wǎng)查找有關(guān)數(shù)字在生活中的運用的例子，小組成員一起討論，總結(jié)數(shù)字應(yīng)用的例子。

3. Communication.

Ss: (Discuss in groups.)

T: Which group can try to give some examples?

G1: 我們從校園網(wǎng)班級學(xué)生的學(xué)籍庫中了解同學(xué)們的家庭地址和電話號碼，可以知道數(shù)字在生活中經(jīng)常表示門牌號和電話號碼。

T: Good! We know about the telephone numbers and room numbers. Any more? (記錄)

G2: 我們小組通過查找小學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)籍庫，找到數(shù)字在數(shù)學(xué)算式中云運用，我們可以用數(shù)字進行計算。（在黑板上做簡單記錄）

T: Excellent! We can reckon.

  G3: 我們小組查找了教師的簽到表，發(fā)現(xiàn)生活中數(shù)字經(jīng)常用于表示時間。(記錄)

　T: Very clever! We can know the time.

  G4: 我們小組進入校園網(wǎng)英語動畫樂園，和有趣的卡通人物一起做數(shù)數(shù)游戲，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)數(shù)字的數(shù)數(shù)作用。(記錄)

  T: Yes. We can count.

  G5: 我們小組到索材庫中找到各種國家的貨幣，發(fā)現(xiàn)各國貨幣上都有數(shù)字，可以知道幣值。

4. T: Numbers are very important in our lives. Each group has given some 

examples. Now let’s discuss together, OK?

5. 1)T: Look, there is a picture. Now let’s have a competition. 現(xiàn)在我們來進行數(shù)數(shù)競賽，看哪個小組能在規(guī)定時間2分鐘內(nèi)，最快完成題目，并且統(tǒng)計數(shù)字最準確。我們將請完成最快最好的小組向大家介紹他們成功的秘訣。The questions are: How many boys, girls, caps, cats, birds are there in the picture? Then please fill the form in your group.

2)Point, count and fill the form.

3)Check-up.

T: OK, Group X is the winner. Now let’s check up.

Each group asks the question, and Group4 answers.

G1: How many boys?

GX: Eight.

   T: Is it right?

   Ss: Yes.  （課件突出圖中所有小男孩的圖象，讓學(xué)生明確結(jié)果）

  G2: How many girls?

  GX: Six.

  Ss: No.

  T: OK, what’s your opinion?

  G3: Seven girls.

  Ss: Yes.

  T: OK, let’s count.(課件突出圖中所有女孩的圖象，讓學(xué)生明確結(jié)果)

  (如有學(xué)生表達有困難，教師應(yīng)幫助學(xué)生建立信心，允許學(xué)生由單一數(shù)字的運用，漸漸過渡到能熟練掌握車牌號、電話號碼的表達。)
